Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the UsedCarAgentJapan website and the vehicle sourcing, brokerage, and export-consulting services (collectively, the "Services") provided by UsedCarAgentJapan ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Services or paying a sourcing fee, you ("Client") agree to these Terms.

Online payments for our sourcing fees are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd. and/or Paddle.com Inc. ("Paddle"), who act as the merchant of record for those transactions. Paddle handles payment processing, invoicing, tax collection, chargebacks, and refund processing on our behalf, in accordance with Paddle's Buyer Terms available at paddle.com.

We are an independent sourcing consultant. Fees paid on this website are for our sourcing, verification, and coordination services only. We are not the seller of the vehicle. The purchase price of the vehicle, freight, insurance, port and customs charges, duties, and taxes at the destination are the Client's responsibility and are billed at cost with supporting invoices.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for ensuring that importing a vehicle into your destination country is lawful and complies with local age, emissions, and homologation rules.

Sourcing fees are quoted in USD and shown before checkout. Fees are charged in advance and cover our time, network access, and coordination work regardless of bidding outcome, unless expressly stated otherwise. Applicable sales tax or VAT is calculated and collected by Paddle at checkout.

The Client agrees to (a) provide accurate contact, shipping, and identification information, (b) respond in a timely manner during bidding windows, and (c) settle vehicle and shipping invoices by the agreed deadlines. Delays caused by the Client may forfeit specific auction opportunities.

Vehicle auctions are competitive and time-sensitive. We do not guarantee that a specific vehicle will be won, or that pricing targets will be met. Auction sheets are prepared by third parties; while we verify them line by line, we cannot guarantee absence of latent defects.

You may not use the Services for any unlawful purpose, including sanctions evasion, money laundering, or importing vehicles into jurisdictions where such import is prohibited.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability in connection with the Services is limited to the sourcing fees actually paid by the Client for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profit or shipping delays caused by carriers or customs authorities.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Client resides, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the current version. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
